We’re energising the EV revolution in Wales
From Cardiff to Cemaes, Llanelli to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, GO EV Cymru’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across the Principality. By bringing together manufacturers, distributors, infrastructure providers, local communities and government, GO EV Cymru supports the transition towards a low carbon Wales, the green economy and more sustainable awareness and living.
ABOUT US
We’re a Community Interest Company
Moving away from unsustainable ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) powered vehicles towards cleaner alternatives such as electric vehicles is a common good. This transition has benefits to the individual, our communities, and the environment. While markets have a role in how electric vehicles are adopted, coordination is needed to accelerate this transition. GO EV Cymru has been established as a Community Interest Company to advance this purpose. As a Community Interest Company, profits will be reinvested to serve our central aim.
WHAT WE DO
Education & training
GO EV Cymru offers a programme of off the shelf and bespoke training packages for business, government and the third sector. Areas of expertise include EV transition plans, public engagement, EV roadshows and on-site training.
Wales EV Experience CENTRE
A proposed brand neutral, hands-on high street EV experience to inform, educate and entertain. By bringing the latest electric vehicles, charging solutions and EV innovations together into a high footfall retail environment, the Wales EV Experience Centre provides the experiential equivalent of up to ten showrooms under one roof, all in a relaxed, no-pressure environment free of pushy sales teams.
consultancy
Strategic partnership building, vision building and execution of EV development plans. We help design and implement tailored business case proposals for organisations of various shapes and sizes in Wales.
GO EV Cymru Partners
We are building partnerships with key stakeholders across the EV market in Wales. Our partners share one goal, to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in Wales and close the widening EV adoption gap between Wales and the other home nations.
